“THE FOOTBALL SEASON - With the close of the cricket season comes the opening of the football season, and enthusiasts in the invigorating game are now looking up their gay field adornments which have been lying dormant in the summer, and making preparation for the opening day.  For the first time in many years a good local club has been organised in Wilmslow which has already a large membership and there is every possibility that it will be a permanently successful one”

At Wilmslow we have a proud history, which at all times we aim to respect. It is an aspect of the club that is most often commented upon by our visitors.  On these few pages we hope to keep our history and records alive into the next generation.  Together with our rejuvenated Clubhouse our new website will develop over time into a rich insight into the history of Wilmslow.

Over the coming month the History of our club will unfold on the website, in celebration of our 125th anniversary celebrations.
