INTERNATIONAL honours beckon for two more young Wilmslow rugby stars.
Wolves winger Jordan Kennedy and Colts scrum half Rory Bell have both been called up to train with  Scotland at their respective age groups.
First team flyer Jordan is training with the Under 20 squad and half back Rory with the Under 18s squad north of the border this weekend.
Jordan is a product of Wilmslow High School and his devastating finishing has put him among the top scorers in  Pownall Park’s senior side this season.
Rory, 18, is 1st XV skipper at Stockport Grammar and has played for Wilmslow junior sides since the age of 11.
He played for the Scottish Exiles and Cheshire U17 sides last year and played for the U18 Exiles  last weekend against Glasgow  in front of Scottish selectors.
At the end of the game he was asked to join the squad and the SRFU is flying him to Glasgow on Saturday for training on Sunday.
Said the Colts’ Harry Gradon: “”I have known Rory for longer than I care to think about. He was always first on the team list, has a great work ethic on and off the pitch and never ever gives an inch.
“I hope that this attitude will stand him in good stead. Wilmslow and all the coaches wish him the best of luck.”
Former Colts Chris Davies and Charlie Mulchrone were the last to gain junior international honours for Wilmslow. Chris played for Cheshire England Under 18s in the European Championships in France, where he came up against Charlie playing for Ireland U18s in the semi finals. Chris went on to play for Oxford University in the Varsity match last year and is on Sale Sharks’ books. Charlie, who played for the Irish Exiles U20s last year is Wilmslow’s current scrum half.
