WHY not bring in the New Year with some international action at Wilmslow?

The Senior Colts play host to a touring side from Cork on Saturday, Jan 2^nd. Douglas RFC will be on a whirlwind trip to the North West, taking in the Sale – Quins match the day before.

They are bringing a party of 22 players and supporters who are all looking for a great weekend, and with our experience of Munster fans at Pownall Park, it is hoped we will be able to accommodate them in style.

Douglas RFC was first founded in 1902 and re-established as a relatively young club just 30 years ago. Their senior sides play in Munster League 3 and – like ourselves – have invested heavily in youngsters coming through.

The lads kick off their match at 4pm after the Hawks game at Pownall Park, so come on down for some fresh air, blow away a few cobwebs from the New Year, and give our visitors a rousing welcome.
