Steve Heaney has suffered a mild heart attack , but has been in touch to say he is recovering well at home.
He has e-mailed chairman John Harries to let him know all is as well as can be. All at the club wish him a speedy recovery.
He wrote to John:
“I have just come out of hospital following a “mild” heart attack . I was taken ill last Wednesday evening and rushed to hospital where I was treated successfully for the condition.
“The prognosis is good and I should be back to full fitness in 6 to 8 weeks…I am assured by the consultants that I should be able to ref again without problem.
“Feel free to circulate this to club members and/or put something on the website so that people know I am OK and don’t hear things through the grapevine.
“I reiterate I am well and that there is unlikely to be any serious repercussions following the attack. If people want to contact me that is not a problem tell them to feel free to give me a ring.”

Steve can be contacted at steve.heaney@lineone.net

Get well soon, Steve.

THE 200 Club July draw has just been made and Mike Hook, a parent from the junior section who only joined last year, is £400 better off.
As you’ll see from pictures in the gallery (off the pitch – 2009/10) the clubhouse is   coming along too, with the assistance of funds from the 200 Club – among others.
Now is the time to get involved to help boost the development fund, with the added bonus of a potential bumper payout.
Organiser Kit Clucas says :”With membership of £5.00 a month and odds of 110 to 1, four times a year, it is not an opportunity to be missed!”
This is an opportunity open to all members – players and junior section parents included – so get involved and contact Kit on kitandjane8@googlemail.com.
