WORK DAYS

Can you spare an hour or two to help give the club a summer facelift?
It’s not a lot to ask for all the enjoyment we get out of the place through the long, hard winters.
Work days are being planned for Saturdays July 12th and 19th by Barry Fisher.
He asks if anyone coming down could please bring a paintbrush or two, it would help enormously.
The fun starts at 10am each day and all we ask for is as much time as you can spare.
An hour or two would be wonderful. The more people turn up, the less each one has to do. So tell your pals and make a morning of it.

RFU RAFFLE

THE RFU draw, for which so many members sold tickets, raised a magnificent £1,000-plus for the club.
Many thanks to all who helped, and a special word of thanks to Alan Hill who organised the whole show.
This kind of fundraiser can be a pain to organise, but through selfless effort like that which Alan contributed, the club is that much better off and the facilities for all will be improved.
A big ‘thank you’ from us all, Alan.
